Popular Muslim cleric Sheikh Ahmad Mahmud Gumi talk say Nigeria no go lose anything if di kontri stop to dey relate with America.

He talk am for part of interview with TRT Afrika Hausa, at the time wey people still dey reason the threat wey US President Donald Trump give to carry military action against Nigeria.

"No be only America country for world wey go make you lose anything if you stop to relate with am; if na manufactured goods, China dey; if na weapons, Russia dey," Sheikh Gumi talk.

"Some countries dey live fine wey no even sabi say America dey. This country no show say e love us; e just dey squeeze us, dey divide us, dey do us wahala," he add.

Sheikh Gumi also say America no dey wish Nigeria well, and he allege say America dey among those wey help the Biafra people wey try to secede from Nigeria during the civil war.

The cleric say Muslims and Christians dey live together in peace, and e deny say the claim wey Trump make that Muslims dey kill Christians for Nigeria get any truth.
