Badaru talk so when e dey answer journalists for press briefing for Armed Forces Remembrance Day 2026 wey happen on Wednesday for Abuja.

E yan so after one incident wey happen on Tuesday between Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and one naval officer, Lt. Cdr A.M. Yerima, over one plot of land for Abuja.

Plenty Nigerians still dey react to the way Minister Wike confront the young soja A.M. Yerima when e go inspect one land wey e claim say dem no follow law take acquire.

The disagreement start when Wike waka go the plot himself, land wey belong to one former senior naval officer wey sojas don camp for inside.

Wike vex when the soldier stop am from entering the land, and e begin insult the soja, behaviour wey some people talk say no proper.

As e dey talk about the matter, Badaru say Defence Ministry don sabi the case and dem go make sure say all personnel dey get protection while dem dey perform their duties.

'For this ministry, and especially inside the military, we go protect all officers wey dey on duty anytime,' na wetin e talk.

'We dey investigate this matter, and I assure una say any officer wey dey do im duty according to the rules go get protection. We no go allow anything happen to am so long as e dey on duty and dey do im work properly,' e add.

But the minister no explain details about the investigation wey dem dey run on the matter.
