"E dey very important make di way wey di developed countries dey relate with Africa no be as if na only to collect resources dem dey come for," Tuggar talk dis one on Wednesday for one interview wey e do with Reuters during Gulf NEXT summit for Abu Dhabi.

"Sometimes e be like say na game of mining dem dey play: Oil dey, gas dey, important minerals dey, land wey no dey everywhere dey. Dem go just put small money, invest small, carry wetin dem want. No be so e suppose be."

"Di relationship suppose dey based on mutual respect, common goals, and di fact say Africa need development. If Africa no develop, we go continue dey face illegal migration and di wahala wey dey follow am," Tuggar add.

African countries wey get plenty natural resources like Nigeria wey get oil and gas, or Democratic Republic of Congo wey get important minerals, don dey try for long to grow dia economy and reduce how dem dey depend on exporting raw materials go abroad.

When dem ask Tuggar about di US tax policy under Donald Trump wey put 15% tax on goods from Nigeria, including oil and gas, e talk say Nigeria get other opportunities wey fit help di country manage di situation.

"We be big country wey get over 230 million people, so we get big domestic market," Tuggar talk. "E mean say we get plenty talent pass some other countries."

"And of course, we fit do business with other countries, and na wetin Tinubu government dey try emphasize – di idea of independent and balanced trade," e add, as e talk about President Bola Tinubu.

"Our relationship no dey based on ideology, e dey based on policy, from national interest. So we dey trade with America, we dey trade with China, we dey trade with Brazil, we dey trade with India."
