Abu Lulu, wey im real name be Al Fatah Abdullah Idris, na one of di top and most dangerous commanders for RSF.

Body dem dey for road. Civilians dey beg for mercy. Gunmen dey shoot pipo like say nothing dey.

Na so Al Fasher dey now, since RSF fighters take over the capital of North Darfur for west Sudan recently.

"The town don turn to open grave," na so Sulaiman Sharif talk, wey be director for department wey dey fight violence against women for Sudan interim government.

Among the people wey dey do these kind evil, one name don stand out: Abu Lulu, wey dem dey call "Butcher of Al Fasher".

One TikTok video wey dem don remove show Lulu dey proud say e kill like 2,000 people by himself.

For another video, dem see am dey talk to people then shoot dem one by one.

One third video show am dey take picture with the victims. After small seconds, he start fire gun on them.

He even dey talk with one wounded man, before gun fire replace the small talk.

"He dey proud of wetin e dey do, and e dey frame im actions like e dey do correct thing," na so Tarig Mohamed Nour, Sudan historian, talk with TRT Africa.

Lulu, wey dem say real name na Al-Fateh Abdullah Idris, blow up quick as one brutal RSF commander.

Report say he join the fighters in 2013 and climb quick, become one of the main commanders wey dey involved for the Sudan conflict.

Brutality wey no dey stop

Civil war between RSF and Sudan Army burst for Khartoum April 2023, wey make the fighting worse after the 2019 removal of ex-president Omar al-Bashir.

Earlier this month, RSF men capture Al Fasher after them surround the last Sudan Army camp for West Darfur for about 18 months.

Wetin follow na clear acts of terror wey satellite pictures even show the massacres for Al Fasher from space.

"Wetin dey happen for Al Fasher don turn to crimes against humanity. People dey killed, houses destroy, families scatter," na so Dr Tunç Demirtaş, lecturer for international relations for one university for Turkey, talk.

"Wetin RSF dey do for Al Fasher na to remove whole ethnic group. E clear say international laws dey only for mouth or paper.

"Gunmen like RSF dey get emboldened because them know say no consequence go follow wetin dem dey do."

Green light to kill

Anadolu news report say Lulu become one of the trusted guards of Abdul Raheem Dagalo, wey be brother to RSF leader Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo – wey dem dey call Hemedti – after the big fighting start in 2023.

He don dey front line of the gunmen attacks across Sudan since then, though the takeover of Al Fasher take time before e show im open appetite for brutality.

"Na one of two, either I succeed or I die," Lulu talk for one video as other fighters around dey laugh.

Nour believe say 'Butcher of Al Fasher' dey hide truth wey big pass wetin them dey claim.

"Abu Lulu confess say him kill 2,000 people by himself... how many others wey dey with am don kill?" he wonder.

History of bloodshed for Darfur

RSF start for 2013 from Janjaweed militias wey ex-president al-Bashir use against rebels for Darfur. UN estimate say at least 180,000 people die that time.

"We dey see the same thing wey happen for Darfur in 2003 again," Nour tell TRT Africa.

Days after the Al Fasher killings, RSF commander Hemedti admit say his soldiers break rules and promise make investigation. Lulu na one of those wey the group 'arrest', but he no stay long for detention.

"Dem hold am for two or three days, then the tribal chief come say, "Our people fight you and you put them for prison".

"So, dem make Abdul Raheem Dagalo beg make dem release this madman and give am clear message: no take photo or video of wetin una do," Nour say.

Planned strategy

Many people dey see the short detention of Lulu as one RSF tactic to clean their leadership from blame for the massacre.

"Now, dem dey try talk say na only one person do these videos, or dem dey try show say na only that one man dey commit all the crimes," Sharif tell us.

Now RSF dey control all the five states for Darfur, and the important town Al Fasher na the last stronghold wey fall.

"Darfur mean land of Fur, Zaghawa, Tunjur and other African tribes. Now the gunmen dey happy say Darfur go become land for other communities like Arab groups," Sharif tell TRT Africa.

Demirtaş say him dey worry about the lack of international intervention even after plenty people don die. "The question no be whether world get power to act, but whether dem want to," he say.

"There is big lack of political will. And without political will, nobody go fit protect people wey survive," he add.

E never clear whether Lulu and other RSF fighters go face trial, even though the International Criminal Court accept say the atrocities for Al Fasher amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

On November 6, RSF announce say dem accept a delayed ceasefire deal wey mediation group led by the United States put forward.

But the Sudan army insist say dem go only accept the ceasefire if RSF withdraw for civilian areas and lay down their weapons.

"Wetin we dey see for Al Fasher today be like another Gaza," Demirtaş tell TRT Africa. "The current world order don collapse. Na disaster for humanity."

UN estimate say about 82,000 out of the 260,000 people of Al Fasher don flee their homes to escape being killed, abused or persecuted by RSF. Many still dey camps. This na big humanitarian crisis wey the world dey slow to respond to.
